For my new book, CHICZOFRENIA – crazy is an art form, I am in need of two things. From all you guys out there I would like to know your favorite thing about women. Please nothing sexual, this is more about the inside not boobs and butts. Then from everyone I would love to know your favorite line from a song.
Thanks for your help!
Laina

One thing about women I admire is their abiltity to understand another womans feelings and the ability to forgive.
The song is Always, the line “I will always love you”. This was a WWII song I believe. It was my Mom and Dads song and they always signed each others card, Love Always. They were married 52 yrs before my Dad passed away from cancer in 1992. My Mom passed away in Jul 2006. I wish I had been able to find someone like my Dad but it was not in the cards.
“Limelight” by Rush and every line is good for a different reason so take your pic.
Living on a lighted stage
Approaches the unreal
For those who think and feel
In touch with some reality
Beyond the gilded cage.
Cast in this unlikely role,
Ill-equipped to act,
With insufficient tact,
One must put up barriers
To keep oneself intact.
Living in the Limelight,
The universal dream
For those who wish to seem.
Those who wish to be
Must put aside the alienation,
Get on with the fascination,
The real relation,
The underlying theme.
Living in a fisheye lens,
Caught in the camera eye.
I have no heart to lie,
I can’t pretend a stranger
Is a long-awaited friend.
All the world’s indeed a stage,
And we are merely players,
Performers and portrayers,
Each another’s audience
Outside the gilded cage.
As the father of two little girls I am amazed at how girls are able to appreciate the beauty in most everything. Especially if it’s shiny, sparkly, colorful, cute, or fuzzy. This was not a taught behavior it comes naturally. As a husband I am amazed at how my wife can still appreciate the beauty in most things while tending to the mundane tasks of daily adult life.
My lyrics are from the Beatles “Lady Madonna”
Lady Madonna, lying on the bed.
Listen to the music playing in your head.
Tuesday afternoon is never ending.
Wednesday morning papers didn’t come.
Thursday night your stockings needed mending.
See how they run…
Lady Madonna, children at your feet.
Wonder how you manage to make ends meet.
My favorite thing about women is their caring attitude and devotion. They are unwaveringly loyal and devoted to the ones they love, especially their kids. I like to change the classic quote and say, “Hell hath no fury like a mother scorned.”
As far as the lyrics, this is tough because there are SO MANY great choices. I considered AC/DC, Van Halen, John Mellencamp, Frank Sinatra, Prince, Black Eyed Peas, Journey, Seal, Michael Jackson, Sir Mix-a-Lot, Kid Rock, Vanilla Ice, Coldplay, U2, Phil Collins, Guns-N-Roses, and Jon McLaughlin before finally picking the chorus from Unanswered Prayers by Garth Brooks:
Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you’re talkin’ to the man upstairs
That just because he doesn’t answer doesn’t mean he don’t care
Some of God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers
LOVE IT
Not a guy, but the thing I love about fellow women is the ability to be both strong and weak at the same time! We have this incredible need to be taken care of while maintaining our independence and taking care of others. It is amazing how these two forces can exist within us!

Songs
I love John Mellencamp and so many of his songs speak to me!
Walk Tall:
The simple minded
And the uninformed
Can be easily led astray
And those that cannot connect the dots
Hey look the other way
People believe what they want to believe
When it makes no sense at all
So be careful of those killing in Jesus’s name
He don’t believe in killing at all
Walk tall

Rumble Seat: (the whole song!)
All the leaves are green
All my friends are gone
I’m livin’ in my hometown
I can barely get along
I feel sorry for myself
That’s an easy thing to do
I feel sorry for the world
I feel sorry for you
Yes I am a pitiful sight
I can’t even get one thing right
[Chorus:]
I know just what it’s like
To be ridin’ in the rumbleseat
Yes I know just what it’s like
To be a big time rider in the rumbleseat
Well I could have a nervous breakdown
But I don’t believe in shrinks
I should be drunker than a monkey
But I don’t like to drink
Call up some girls
But I’m afraid of the phone
I’m always talkin’ to myself
I guess I’m never alone
Am I the only one that feels this way
I’d buy myself some stylish clothes
But I sure hate to pay
[Chorus]
The sun is coming up
Just goin’ to bed
I combed my hair with my pillow
Still got some dreams left
Tomorrow is a new day
Gonna make these dreams come true
I’m gonna believe in myself
I’ll tell you what I’m gonna do
I’m gonna stop puttin’ myself down
I’m gonna turn my life around
I’ll be ridin’ high
With my feet kicked up in the rumbleseat
Yeah we’ll go for a drive
And we’ll be singin’ shotgun from that rumbleseat
Yes I’ll blow you a kiss
And we’ll be ridin’ big time in my rumbleseat

And so many more!
What I like about women is summed up in the lyrics below from ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ by Train. They have summed up the feeling of complete devotion. Hope it’s a worthwhile entry.
Mike (@michaelmknight)
Hey, Soul Sister
—————-
Your lipstick stains
On the front lobe of my left side brains
I knew I wouldn’t forget you
And so I went and let you blow my mind
Your sweet moonbeam
The smell of you in every single dream I dream
I knew when we collided you’re the one I have decided
Who’s one of my kind
Hey soul sister, hey there mister, mister
On the radio, stereo
The way you move ain’t fair you know
Hey soul sister, I don’t wanna miss a single thing you do tonight
Hey Hey Hey
Just in time, I’m so glad you have a one track mind like me
You gave my life direction
A game show love connection, we can’t deny
I’m so obsessed
My heart is bound to beat right out my untrimmed chest
I believe in you, like a virgin, you’re Madonna
And I’m always gonna wanna blow your mind
Hey soul sister, hey there mister, mister
On the radio, stereo
Hey soul sister, I don’t wanna miss a single thing you do tonight
Well you can cut a rug
Watching you is the only drug I need
So gangster, I’m so thug
You’re the only one I’m dreaming of
You see I can be myself now finally
In fact there’s nothing I cant be
I want the world to see you’ll be with me
Hey soul sister, hey there mister, mister
On the radio, stereo
Hey soul sister, I don’t wanna miss a single thing you do tonight
Hey soul sister, I don’t wanna miss a single thing you do tonight
Hey Hey Hey (tonight)
Hey Hey Hey (tonight)
“So you can make me cum, that doesn’t make you Jesus.”
Tori Amos – Precious Things
Which is probably too dirty for your book, or for most of your readers given what they’ve posted so far.
The way I have always understood that lyric is if I find you attractive – attractive enough to have sex with you even – does not mean that you are worthy of my love, my devotion or my further contemplation.
It may be too dirty but I have to say I like it. And you know what…f%^$ anyone who doesn’t:)
…take a sad song and make it better…
Women have there ups and downs (as do men). Based on my last relationship Justin Timberlake couldn’t put it better for me:
Hey girl, is he everything you wanted in a man?
You know I gave you the world
You had me in the palm of your hand
So why your love went away
I just can’t seem to understand
Thought it was me and you babe
Me and you until the end
But I guess I was wrong
Don’t want to think about it
Don’t want to talk about it
I’m just so sick about it
Can’t believe it’s ending this way
Just so confused about it
Feeling the blues about it
I just can’t do without ya
Tell me is this fair?
Is this the way it’s really going down?
Is this how we say goodbye?
Should’ve known better when you came around
That you were gonna make me cry
It’s breaking my heart to watch you run around
‘Cause I know that you’re living a lie
That’s okay baby ’cause in time you will find…
What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around
