It can be easy to fall into a daily routine which can become monotonous before you know it. However, it won’t change if you don’t make an effort. While making an effort can be a lot harder than letting life just happen think about what you are missing if you aren’t living life.
Personally, I’ve always been a planner. Not in an obsessive/compulsive way but rather in a manner that if today is Sunday I am planning out my activities for the week for work, personal, and family. So if Tuesday someone wants to do something that will through my week off in the past I probably would have said no because I don’t like my week being throw off. Frankly, it would stress me out. But I’ve come to realize that tasks can be figured out (usually). Experiences are once in a lifetime. So it can pay to be spontaneous.
When was the last time you were spontaneous?
