Animals are the best thing in the world. Well, along with coffee and wine. While they are a lot of work I couldn’t imagine life without them. Watch me share why I keep adding dogs to my pack.

This really made me smile. My husband and I currently have 5 dogs and 7 cats! How did that happen?? I have always had dogs and cats. I was the kid who was always dragging home every stray that showed up in our subdivision. Now at 58 years old, I have started adopting senior dogs from our local shelter who probably wouldn’t be adopted and would be put down. I have a 16 year old chug, chihuahua-pug, that I have had since he was 6 weeks old. His name is Mushy Face and he is my baby. Then there are two 13 year old shelter dogs. One, named Euclid, is blind in one eye and has a cataract on the other. The other, named Daisy, took to my husband immediately. She tolerates me when he is at work, lol. Next are two 3 year old dogs. The first one is named Skippy. He is a nightmare to put it mildly. He is a long haired chihuahua who really wants to be an only dog. Big attitude in a little dog. Finally, there is Lexie. She is also a shelter dog. I saw her pic on facebook at our local shelter and thought she was a pug. I rushed to get her because the shelter was closing in 15 mins. I got there and they brought out this 50lb dog that looked like a pug on steroids. I love her to bits! She is a lovable goofball. So, there is how I have ended up with 5 dogs. We will save the cat tales for later.
