Tillie Moore leaves Paw Paw's Pet Bakery and her four-legged crew behind in Sweet Haven for a week in Silver Sands, Florida, with her best friends. Their first night ends with drinks at The Barefoot Tiki Bar and its charming owner, Jim Hargrove. By morning, Jim is dead.

The local detective calls it a robbery gone wrong. Tillie isn't so sure. As she and her friends dig into Jim's secret past, they find plenty of people with a grudge, and Tillie has to catch a killer before the tide washes the truth away.
